Karin Olson
Senior Director, Finance

Karin leads Hallcon’s contract administration, financial process design, monitoring and refinement, customer invoicing and support, secondary vendor support and integration, operations support and payroll management for the North American Rail Division.

Karin has more than 25 years of Finance experience, and prior to serving as Senior Director of Finance, she held the role of Controller for Hallcon from February 2006 until September 2008. In this role, Karin was responsible for Financial Accounting and Reporting for the Rail Line of Business. In 2008 Karin transitioned to Director of Data Management where her deep knowledge of the business and ability to integrate complex functions uniquely positioned her to analyze data requirements for both internal and externally facing clients. Working directly with Hallcon’s programming team, Karin’s leadership facilitated important B2B advancements in the areas of customized reporting, invoicing technologies, and enhanced performance reporting.

Karin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Emporia State University.

Kevin Ramsay
VP, Rail

Kevin has overall operational responsibility for the Rail Line of Business in both the United States and Canada. His responsibilities include overall company performance metrics, senior management team leadership, customer relations as well as business strategy and innovation through communication with dispatch, finance, human resources and IT.

Kevin has been with Hallcon since its introduction into railway crew transportation in 2003 and has experience running all parts of the business operations as well as customer procurement and development. Kevin started his career as an accountant at KPMG and prior to joining Hallcon, he held positions as an Associate and a Vice President for a Toronto based investment bank working on private company buyouts, refinances and acquisitions.

Kevin holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Economics and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has served in teaching positions at Wilfrid Laurier University and volunteered on several community councils. Kevin formerly served as the President of the Board of Directors for a Toronto condominium corporation and served several years on the Board of Directors of Hallcon. Outside of work, Kevin has a passion for cars and golf, and enjoys other family activities such as camping, biking and boating.

Robert Balon
SVP, Operations & Chief Information Officer

Rob provides operational leadership and direction for Hallcon. Integrated with his Operations teams, he also oversees shared functions such as Information Technology and Safety. Additionally, Rob leads Hallcon’s Data and Analytics Services to advance client and operational performance through innovation, business intelligence and process excellence.

Rob has more than 25 years of experience transforming business operations, integrating mergers, and driving strategic business value from data analytics and technology innovation. Prior to joining Hallcon, he led several organizations and enterprise initiatives across a variety of industries including logistics, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences, media, commercial software and professional services.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He is an active speaker and contributor in industry and business associations. Throughout his career, he has helped nearly 50 Fortune 500 companies deliver more than $3 billion in business outcomes by leading high-impact transformation initiatives with cohesive business and technology teams.

 

 

 

 

 

John R. Stoiber
President & Chief Executive Officer

John has global P&L responsibility for Hallcon including strategy, lines of business, operations, marketing and branding, sales, finance, information technology and HR. He leads the company’s senior management team in fostering and developing new business, improving performance, developing partnerships, managing large change initiatives, assimilating new acquisitions and integrating all critical functions of a 24/7 business model.

John has over 25 years of experience in a wide range of industries and organizations including Fortune 500, mid-size and entrepreneurial organizations. Prior to joining Hallcon, he held numerous senior executive positions in the outsourced services, professional services, technology and social networking arenas.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Marquette University. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MBA from Marquette University with a focus on strategy and new venture development.

John is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and serves as a mentor to entrepreneurs at 1871, one of Chicago’s premier technology incubators.

Jeff is responsible for developing marketing strategies to drive growth in targeted market segments across all lines of business and build awareness for our company’s brand.

Jeff has more than twenty years of marketing, communications, branding, and public relations experience, developing strategies that successfully position brands for accelerated growth. Prior to joining Hallcon, He led marketing teams across several enterprise technology organizations, employing cutting-edge digital marketing, content, lead generation, and sale enablement programs to develop a robust sales pipeline and generate new revenue.

Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts & Sciences from Calvin University and a master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University.

Jaspreet Singh
AVP, Operations

Jas has responsibility for overseeing all commuter transportation operations for clients throughout North America. His responsibilities include overall performance metrics for commuter programs, team leadership, client relations, business strategy, and innovation.

Jas has a revered track record within Hallcon, having held multiple management positions throughout his tenure, including Operator, Supervisor, General Manager, Director of Operations, and Senior Director of Operations. He has a proven track record of organizational efficiency and outstanding leadership.

Jas holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Commerce from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and was selected as a recipient of the Association for Commuter Transportation’s 40 under 40 awards.

Timothy Stanley
Chief Human Resources Officer

Tim has responsibility for developing and executing the company’s people strategy, which includes best-in-class talent delivery, culture optimization, employee experience, functional excellence, and business partnering to enable company growth. Through his knowledge and execution of HR best practices, Tim brings a diverse leadership perspective and a continuous improvement mindset that aligns with Hallcon’s strategic direction.

With over 20 years of experience, Tim has held HR roles with Fortune 500 companies, including Honeywell, Waste Management, and PepsiCo. In addition, he has held roles with entrepreneurial and global mid-size organizations where he led HR for manufacturing and commercial businesses. Tim’s multi-industry experience spans across pharmaceuticals, packaging, specialty chemical, automotive, and aerospace. Before joining Hallcon, he held a senior-level role for a $1.4B industrial service provider, focused on HR functional transformation, employee retention, and staffing process improvement.

Tim holds a Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Beth Wong
Chief Financial Officer

Beth is responsible for Hallcon’s overall financial strategy and oversees the organization’s financial processes, systems, and compliance. She brings extensive expertise in streamlining financial procedures, enhancing systems, and increasing visibility for business leaders and client teams. In addition, Beth has experience in navigating complex mergers and acquisitions, skillfully integrating financial operations and cultivating strategic partnerships to drive company growth.

Beth brings over 25 years of experience across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, third-party logistics, and transportation. Her focus on compliance, efficiency, automation, and talent development has consistently driven success in organizations with revenues of up to $1 billion. She has a proven ability to convert strategies into actionable programs, collaborating closely with operations to drive change and improve financial performance.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is an certified public accountant (CPA).

Brian Teague
AVP, Finance

Brian’s primary focus is on financial planning and analysis to support growth, financial operations, and strategic decision-making. Additionally, Brian’s expertise covers short- and long-term multi-year cash flow forecasting, financial scoring, and metrics. With nearly 20 years’ experience across multiple industries, Brian brings a diversified portfolio of financial leadership and organizational management experience to Hallcon.

Prior to joining Hallcon, Brian acted as Interim CFO Consultant at SOS Association Solutions, where he maintained executive responsibility for operational and financial functions. Brian has also held successful leadership roles and responsibilities with SmithBucklin, Abbott Laboratories, and Navistar, where he led accounting teams, managed corporate financial oversight, and developed business strategies to drive revenue growth.

Brian holds a B.B.A in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago.

Paul Fletcher
VP & Chief Technology Officer

Paul is responsible for Hallcon’s global technical infrastructure and engineering initiatives, as well as driving new innovation, service capabilities and adherence to industry best practices.

Since joining Hallcon, Paul has created a foundation for technology management by leveraging cutting-edge infrastructure, establishing outsourced partnerships and implementing disaster recovery solutions for core services and dispatch operations. He also leads the revitalization efforts of Hallcon’s legacy platforms and custom enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Prior to Hallcon, Paul held numerous senior-level positions leading engineering teams in delivering enterprise software solutions for clients in the financial services, entertainment, government, reverse logistics and automotive industries.

Paul holds a diploma in Systems Analysis from Sheridan College and is currently enrolled in continuing studies in Enterprise Architecture at the University of Toronto. Paul is also a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Dan Cox
VP, Transit & Facilities

Dan is responsible for Operations throughout North America. Dan is our resident expert in commuter railcar cleaning, light rail vehicle cleaning, bus servicing, station and facility cleaning, resthouse management and station ambassador programs. He is also developing transit specific initiatives that provide good value and positive outcomes for major transit organizations within Canada and the USA.

Dan has a venerable track record within Hallcon, having held  management positions at just about every level of the company. These titles include Supervisor, Site Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager and Director of Operations. Dan has been instrumental in distinguishing Hallcon as the industry expert in transportation cleaning and various other transportation services. His leadership over the past twelve years has been customer and ridership focused with a deeply held belief in providing clients with flexibility and high quality service.

Dan holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Labor Relations and Political Science and completed coursework toward a Masters of Industrial Relations program at the University of Toronto.

Steve Heinking
VP, Operations

Steve leads Hallcon’s Demand Response operations, overseeing Hallcon’s largest 24/7 operations center in North America. He is instrumental in ensuring Hallcon’s On Demand metrics, responsiveness, and service networks are optimized for client success, with highly coordinated client and field management communication.

Steve is also a driving business force behind Hallcon’s technology development, including the implementation of Dispatching, Billing, and Fleet Management software. Steve led the business vision and integration of Hallcon’s telematics, on-demand trip management and mobile messaging platforms.  He has a strong track record of leading new service rollouts and streamlining call center operations.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri Kansas City, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management Kansas City. Steve is actively involved in the Knights of Columbus, Relay for Life and Cub Scouts.

Terese Jones
VP & President, TCS

Terese is responsible for leading both Transportation Certification Services (TCS) and specialty staffing services (RTI) within Hallcon.  She oversees the strategy and development of these lines of business, and maintains an extensive network of clients across freight, commuter and passenger rail groups in the U.S. and internationally.

Terese has over 25 years of experience in the railroad and private sector transit industries, including Fortune 500, mid-size and entrepreneurial organizations.  Some clients include Class 1 railroads (such as BNSF, UP, CSX, CN, CPR, KCS), commuter and passenger rail clients, operations and maintenance operators and public transit authorities.

Prior to joining Hallcon, Terese held numerous senior executive positions in the railway industry, working with freight, passenger and commuter operations.  Terese has worked extensively with key regulatory agencies such as the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the Federal Transit Administration(FRA).

Terese has served on the Railway Safety Advisory Committee, International Association of Railway Operating Officers, and many other industry groups and associations.  She is a recognized senior leader and renowned railway professional, and is well known for driving success in the O&M, training, operations, regulatory and safety areas.

Terese serves as a mentor to entrepreneurs and has worked with female and minority business enterprises.  She has also been a key-note speaker at many women’s business organizations. Terese is also a member of the League of Railway Industry Women.

 

Erik Zandhuis
VP, Operations

Erik leads Commuter and Shuttle services for Hallcon in the San Francisco Bay Area, including strategy and operational performance for clients in the technology, university, and airport sectors. His responsibilities include managing financial performance, new business development and performance improvement.

Erik brings over 25 years of experience to Hallcon, having held several Transportation industry leadership roles with organizations such as Washington Metro Transit Authority, Orange County Transit Authority, Valley Transit Authority of San Jose, Port Authority of Allegheny County, ATC, and Veolia/Transdev. His experience spans across private and public service operations.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Erik is also a leadership graduate and active member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).

Tina Lainhart
VP, Business Development

Tina Lainhart leads Hallcon’s business development efforts throughout North America. She is responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for the company’s lines of business.  She attributes her success to developing long term partnerships with businesses, cities, counties, universities, and transit agencies. She is passionate about offering innovative transit solutions that provide real services to real people.

Tina brings over 25 years of experience and insight within the transportation and airline industries, including Vice President of Sales at Transdev North America, and Director of Business Development with First Group America. She began her transportation career in aviation as a member of the core management teams of Sunworld International and USA 3000 Airlines and served in multiple leadership positions in both B2B and B2G sectors.

Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
