James Miranda
James is responsible for financial strategy, systems, processes, and compliance. His focus includes process optimization, reporting visibility, and automation, leveraging technology and efficiency to support finance organization development.
James brings over 25 years of global financial leadership experience across multinational and private equity-backed organizations in the retail, distribution, and consumer goods sectors. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer with several private equity firms, including Blackstone, H.I.G. Capital, SK Capital, and Berkshire Partners, as well as in senior executive roles for large privately held and public companies. His experience includes leading major business transformations, several on a global scale, along with mergers and acquisitions, including pre-acquisition diligence and Quality of Earnings work, strategic financial management, and operational finance.
James holds an MBA in Business Management from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. He also completed executive education in Corporate Leadership through the Kellogg Management Institute and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified. James is a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran who retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 22 years of service, logging over 3,500 flight hours and more than 200 combat and NATO missions as a flight instructor and command inflight refueling evaluator.
