Hallcon Corporation is a North American leader in transportation and mobility services in the public and private transit sectors. Today the company announced it has appointed John R. Stoiber as its Chief Operations Officer.  Stoiber will manage all lines of business, marketing and new business development, expansion of the services in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as the consolidation of rail business. John will report directly to Tony G. Plut, Hallcon CEO. Tony added “I am thrilled to have John join me as a key partner in the growth of Hallcon’s business. His experience and leadership will be critical to accelerating our future vision.”

John Stoiber spent over 25 years in a variety of Fortune 500, mid-size and entrepreneurial ventures with a focus on social media, technology, professional services, and e-commerce. He has held numerous senior executive positions in outsourced services, served in Ernst & Young’s strategy consulting practice, and was software and electronics engineer with Johnson Controls, Inc. In 2014, John was the recipient of the Association Forum of Chicagoland’s Inspiring Leader Award for establishing a culture that promotes employee satisfaction, motivation, engagement and achievement. “I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the Hallcon team at this unique time in the transportation industry,” said Stoiber.

John holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Science in Software Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Marquette University. He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MBA in New Ventures from Marquette University, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
