Hallcon would like to welcome Rob Balon as our new Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO). Rob will report to John Stoiber, COO and brings over 20 years of technology, data and business integration experience to the company. John shares that “Rob will be a critical part of our continued technology vision.  This relates not only to the enhancement and scaling of core business systems and technical infrastructure, but also to the innovative application of new technologies that will position our company for the future.” His background includes managing transformation initiatives, integrating mergers, and driving strategic business value from investments in information technology. Rob will lead the global information technology team and all integration initiatives.  He will be responsible for aligning our technology solutions with strategic business objectives. Rob adds “This is a thrilling time to join Hallcon, as it further expands its leadership in transportation services, innovation, and analytics.  I am delighted to help drive our client, operational, and growth priorities.”

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Before joining Hallcon, Rob was Managing Partner at XPM Group, a business transformation and merger integration firm, as well as Integration Partner at Candela Solutions, LLC, a CPA firm focused on governance.  He also held leadership roles with Clerestory Consulting, Bricker & Associates, Price Waterhouse, and Pansophic Systems.  Throughout his career he has helped nearly 50 Fortune 500 companies deliver more than $3 billion in business outcomes by leading large-scale integration initiatives with cohesive business and technology teams.
